Does the filter work in private/incognito mode?

Yes. GuardianShield operates at the DNS and VPN layer, meaning it filters all traffic from the device regardless of whether the browser is in private mode. Incognito browsing does not bypass the filter.

Can my child install a different browser to bypass filtering?

No. The filter applies to all traffic from the device at the network level, not at the browser level. Installing a different browser does not bypass it. You can also block the ability to install new apps.

What categories of content can be blocked?

You can block by category: Adult Content, Violence & Gore, Gambling, Drug-Related, Weapons, Dating Sites, Social Media, Gaming, and more. Subcategories are also available for finer control.

How quickly does the block list update?
