1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a GuardianShield account or using any GuardianShield product, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use GuardianShield.

2. Description of Service

GuardianShield provides parental monitoring and digital wellbeing software for families. The service includes screen time management, content filtering, location tracking, app management, and social media monitoring tools accessible via the GuardianShield Parent and Child applications.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for: maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, ensuring that only authorised adults hold parent accounts, and using GuardianShield in compliance with applicable laws. You must be 18 years or older to create a parent account.

4. Acceptable Use

GuardianShield may only be used to monitor devices of your own minor children or minor children for whom you have legal parental or guardian responsibility. Use of GuardianShield to monitor adults without their consent, to monitor devices you do not have authority over, or for any illegal purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 30 days of any charge as described in our Billing Help. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

GuardianShield is provided as a tool to assist parents — it is not a substitute for parental supervision. We cannot guarantee that all harmful content will be blocked or that all threats will be detected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
