Where is the Panic Button in the child app?

The Panic Button is accessible from the child app's home screen. It can also be added as a widget to the device home screen for faster access. On Android, it can also be triggered by holding both volume buttons simultaneously.

What if the child accidentally presses the Panic Button?

There is a 5-second countdown with a cancel option after pressing, preventing accidental activations. If an alert is sent accidentally, you can mark it as a false alarm in your parent app.

Does the Panic Button work without internet?

The button press is recorded locally immediately. The alert is sent as soon as the device has any internet connection — Wi-Fi or mobile data. Location is captured via GPS regardless of internet connectivity.

Is the audio recording legal?

Audio capture is disclosed to the child during app setup and is listed in the app's permissions. Parents are responsible for ensuring this feature complies with local laws regarding audio recording. It is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled.
